Admins

If you require any help relating to Rocket League, our tournament admins can be found in the arena admin area next to the help desk or via our Discord. Keep note of your seat number whilst at the event as admins may ask for it.
Signups & Restrictions
- Signups will close on Friday 25th of October one hour before the tournament
- You must be aged 16+ to take part in any EPIC.LAN tournaments
- Games will start on Friday 25th of October at 12:00 local time
Where rules do not prevail, common sense shall. The administration has explicit discretion to apply their judgement as they see fit.
Tournament Format
1v1 Double Elimination Rocket League LAN Tournament Rules (Max 24 Players)
Format
- 1v1 matches
- First stages are BO1, Qtr/Semi/Final is BO3
- Double elimination bracket (Winner’s Bracket and Loser’s Bracket).
- Players are eliminated after two match losses.
- Maximum 24 players.
Match Settings
- Game Mode: Soccar.
- Map: DFH Stadium (fixed for all matches unless opponents agree).
- Game Length: 5 minutes.
- Overtime: Unlimited (first goal wins).
Tournament Structure
- Winner’s Bracket: Players advance by winning their matches.
- Loser’s Bracket: Players who lose in the Winner’s Bracket drop to the Loser’s Bracket. A second loss leads to elimination.
- Grand Finals: The Loser’s Bracket finalist must win two consecutive series to win the tournament, while the Winner’s Bracket finalist only needs to win one series.
Match Procedure
- Matches will be hosted by the players themselves.
- The first player listed on the match bracket is responsible for creating the game lobby.
- Both players should confirm the lobby settings and start the match promptly.
- After the match, both players must report the results in the Rocket League Fun Tournament Discord thread.
Hosting the Game
- Lobby Settings:
- Game Mode: Soccar.
- Map: DFH Stadium.
- Match Length: 5 minutes.
- Max Score: Unlimited.
- Bots: None.
- Overtime: Unlimited.
- Lobby Password: The lobby must be private with a password shared only with the opponent.
Forfeits
- Players must be ready and in the game lobby within 5 minutes of their scheduled match time.
- Failure to join or host the lobby within 5 minutes will result in a forfeit.
Disconnections
- If a disconnection occurs within the first minute of play and no goals are scored, the game will be restarted.
- After this, the match must continue, and the disconnected player should attempt to rejoin as quickly as possible.
Player Responsibilities
- Players are responsible for ensuring their PC, peripherals, and internet connection are working properly.
Conduct
- Players must maintain a respectful and sportsmanlike attitude throughout the tournament.
- Offensive behaviour, cheating, or disrespect towards opponents, staff, or other participants will result in warnings or disqualification.
Technical Support
- Players are responsible for any technical issues with their own equipment.
Disputes
- Any disputes or issues should be reported to the tournament organisers immediately.
- The organiser’s decision on disputes is final.
