Please note that if you are participating in a prize tournament you cannot take part in a fun tournament. If you have been eliminated, you may be able to join in - please check with reech or a member of the esports admin team.

All players taking part MUST be entered on the epic.LAN tournament system before 3pm on Friday 9 October. If people miss the tournament sign up, they can only be added on at the discretion of the admin. (Total number of players permitting)

The qualifying rounds will take place from 17:30  on Friday

Mortal Kombat 11 will be played on the PC

We have worked out a way to have people who DON'T OWN THE GAME play via Remote Play - please bear with us with this, and it might mean that some matches are played on Saturday or Sunday to finish off.

We will be using DEFAULT ONLINE BATTLE MODE.

People who own the game when matched:
Add each other in Steam
Go to FIGHT then ONLINE (let it run the bandwidth check if you haven't done so it only takes one minute)
Choose PRIVATE
Choose VERSUS
Select your oponent, and invite them, then start and fight!

People who don't own the game (1 person doesn't own game)
Add each other in steam
The owner of the game should go to:
LOCAL
Then, SHIFT TAB to bring up Steam Overlay
Invite your oponent who doesn't have the game to Remote Play Togehter
Go out of Steam Overlay
Wait about 2 minutes, it should connect
They can then press a key on their controller when the screen syncs.
They can then choose as a 2P (second player)

Both opponents don't own the game

The two opponents shoudl join the FT-Live Voice Channel to set up match
Two hosts with the game will invite, by remote play, the match opponents
They will then then allow them to control the match.
They will then invite the two players who don't
Once it synchronises, the two players can then battle in ONLINE VERSUS mode
(For example if dav_ral and reech are hosting, they would invite one opponent who effectively takes over their mahcine)

Each battle is comprised of three rounds. We'll then play Best of 3 battles to decide the person who will move on in bracket.

Depending on number of contestants, the finals will take place following the qualfiier rounds OR they will take place on Sunday Afternoon.
