Tournament Format

The following tournament formats provide a guide for our events based on the number of teams attending for each game. While we reserve the right to modify these to best suit the event timing and final signup numbers, it aims to give players an estimate for each event. 

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

• If 8 teams or less, 1 single group into double elim best-of-three.
• 9 teams to 15 will see 2 groups, into double elim best-of-three
• 16 teams - Swiss into Double Elim best-of-three.
• 18 teams - 2 groups of 9 teams, 8 into upper bracket, 8 into lower bracket (TI style) mixture of Bo1/Bo3.
• 20 teams - 4 groups of 5 teams, 8 teams into upper bracket, 8 into lower bracket (TI Style) mixture of Bo1/Bo3
• 28 teams - 4 groups of 7 teams, 8 teams into upper bracket, 8 into lower bracket (TI Style) mixture of Bo1/Bo3
• 32 teams - Swiss into Double Elim (Mix of Bo1/Bo3).
• 40 teams - 8 groups of 5 teams, 16 teams into upper bracket, 8 into lower bracket (TI Style), Bo3 elimination stage
• 48 teams - 8 groups of 6 teams, 16 teams into upper bracket, 8 into lower bracket (TI Style), Bo3 elimination stage

Rainbow Six: Siege

• If 8 teams or less, 1 single group, into double elim best-of-three
• 9 teams to 15 will see 2 groups, into double elim best-of-three
• 16 teams - 4 groups of 4 teams, into double elim best-of-three
• 32 teams - 8 groups of 4 teams, into double elim, with mixture of best-of-one and best-of-three

Starcraft2

• If 8 players or less, 1 single group, into double elim best-of-five
• 9 players to 15 players will see 2 or 4 groups, into double elim best-of-five
• 16 players - 4 groups of 4 players, into double elim best-of-five
• 24 players - 4 groups of 6 players, into double elim best-of-five
• 32 players - 8 groups of 4 players, into double elim, mixture of best-of-three and best-of-five

Valorant

• If 8 teams or less, 1 single group into double elim best-of-three.
• 9 teams to 15 will see 2 groups, into double elim best-of-three
• 16 teams - 2 groups of 8 teams, 8 teams progress into Double Elim (Bo3). Depending on time/scheduling allowance, we will take all 16 teams through to Double Elim and mix up Bo1/Bo3.
• 18 teams - 2 groups of 9 teams, 8 into upper bracket, 8 into lower bracket (TI style) mixture of Bo1/Bo3.
• 20 teams - 4 groups of 5 teams, 8 teams into upper bracket, 8 into lower bracket (TI Style) mixture of Bo1/Bo3
• 28 teams - 4 groups of 7 teams, 8 teams into upper bracket, 8 into lower bracket (TI Style) mixture of Bo1/Bo3
• 32 teams - 4 groups of 8 teams, 16 teams progress into Double Elim, mixture of Bo1/Bo3

osu!

• If 16 players or less, seeding qualifiers into up to 16 player single elim
• 16 players - elimination qualifiers into 16 player single elim

Where tournaments have over 16 teams/players we will offer an additional intermediate tournament for those knocked out of the main event if there is sufficient demand.
